About Ruiz Masonry & Concrete

Ruiz Masonry & Concrete is a family business built across three generations of hands-on concrete and masonry work. It started with our grandfather, who came up as a first-generation contractor and laid the foundation, literally and figuratively, for everything that followed. Our father carried that work forward, earning his contractor's license over 30 years ago and building a reputation across Ventura County one project at a time.

Growing up, we spent our early years working alongside our father on job sites. We learned how to read a grade, mix a proper batch, and set forms before most kids had their first summer job. That early exposure didn't feel like training at the time. It felt like family. But it shaped the way we approach every project we take on today.

We run this business together. Our father and I both hold contractor licenses and work side by side on projects across the region. That means when you hire Ruiz Masonry & Concrete, you're getting two experienced contractors on your job, not a crew you've never met. We stay involved from the first site visit through the final walkthrough.
